Hamilton's Nylast® wheel is made from solid-cast high-performance nylon. Nylast® is of cast nylon and has superior impact strength and resilience compared to conventional injection-molded nylon wheels. The Hamilton Nylast® material is also specially formulated with finely divided particles of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) to enhance its load-bearing capability while maintaining the impact resistance inherent to nylon.
Other key properties of Nylast® include resistance to moisture and chemicals, plus floor protection, resulting in a wheel well-suited for corrosive environments or applications where sanitary conditions are important.
The face, sides, and bore of all Nylast® wheels are CNC- machined to tight tolerances to ensure a consistent, quality product.
