This caster's swivel section is made from ASTM 1045 steel, drop forged and hardened. 3/8" thick top plate with 3-3/8" hardened load raceways precisely machined deep-groove with 7/16" hardened steel ball bearings for thrust force. 3/4" heat treated kingpin is used to enhance the load capacity. Legs are made from 3/8" thick steel robotically welded on both sides for maximum strength.
