The new UltraGlide™ 24/7 | AGV represents Hamilton’s latest modular wheel design to reduce the amount of energy needed to move loads in manual or powered applications.
The new UltraGlide™ series, like its twin-wheel predecessor, features independent swivel surfaces that eliminate scrubbing, making it much easier to turn. The wheel assembly also includes split outer raceways to minimize friction, providing low startup and maintain forces.
Hamilton engineers designed the UltraGlide 24/7 | AGV poly formulation to run much cooler than most other polyurethanes to be well suited for automated guided vehicles and any other continuous duty or 24/7 application. The AGV formulation is also essentially impervious to moisture and is our top poly performer in moist or outdoor applications. Each wheel's thick tread also reduces heat stress on the bond line.
Also exclusive to this AGV wheel series, Hamilton engineers installed high-performance electrical grade precision ball bearings to meet the demand placed on wheel bearings inherent with continuous duty applications.
