For extra-heavy loads requiring excellent rollability, higher speeds, and/or outdoor use, Hamilton’s new DuraGlide® wheels are an excellent choice. 1”- 3” thick 95A tread offerings of dynamically responsive polyurethane that roll up to 40% easier than most other poly wheels. Engineers also formulated DuraGlide® to run much cooler than most polyurethanes, resulting in an excellent wheel for higher-speed applications.
DuraGlide is also essentially impervious to moisture and is Hamilton's top poly performer in moist or outdoor applications. Thicker tread also reduces heat stress on the bond line. And because there’s more polyurethane to compress, the psi pressure is lower and therefore the urethane endures less stress fatigue for longer life. DuraGlide® is medium gray poly molded to heavy-duty black cast iron or forged steel centers.
