    • Hamilton HS Heavy Service Casters

    Hamilton’s HS heavy-duty casters are the toughest you can find in the 2" wide wheel class. Their premium drop-forged steel construction makes them one of the fastest-growing products in the series. The popularity of Hamilton Casters has accelerated recently due to their comprehensive wheel-type range, size selection, and optional extras, including heat-treated raceways and dual-wheel models.

    Quality, Features, & Specifications

     

    • Their swivel construction includes a 5/16" thick drop-forged steel mounting plate (¼” thick rigid plate) and ¼" x 2" precision laser-cut steel legs robotically welded inside and out to the forged-steel horn base.
    • The integrally forged kingpin comes in a ¾" diameter. The mounting plate is guaranteed for life and threaded for a locknut.
    • The main load bearing has a CNC-machined 3 ¼" diameter raceway, with 3/8” diameter hardened and polished steel balls.
    • The secondary load bearing is a ¾" precision tapered thrust bearing, which counteracts radial thrust.
    • Each unit comes with Hamilton’s new crimson red powder coat finish. The caster rigs are powder-coated with a metallic HAA polyester, providing a premium look and excellent durability for both interior and exterior environments.
    • The axle is a ½" diameter hex head with a locknut.
    • The lubrication fittings are a ball-check type with a swivel assembly and in-wheel hub with tapered or straight roller bearings.
