Albion 290 Series Dual Wheel Casters

ALBION 290 SERIES DUAL WHEEL CASTERS

Albion 290 casters are dual wheel versions of our 90 series. This dual wheel version was designed for greater capacity and better distribution of floor load with the lowest possible overall height. Each caster has differential action when changing direction, greatly reducing the scrubbing effect which results from usage of wide-faced, small diameter wheels. 290 Series rigs are manufactured with drop forged steel and are highly recommended for rugged applications.

FEATURES

Swivel Top Plate: AISI 1045 drop forged steel, for strength and reliability

Yoke Base: AISI 1045 drop forged steel with machined raceway for extended service life

Swivel Load Bearing: 4” diameter deep-grooved load raceway with 1/2” steel balls for better load distribution. The thrust race is 2-5/8” diameter using 3/8” diameter steel balls for increased capacity

Legs: 3/8” steel plate welded inside and out for added strength

King Bolt: 1” diameter bolt heat treated for extended service

Axle: 3/4” and 1” hollow axles are used for wheel bearing lubrication

Lubrication: Zerk fitting in yoke base and in wheel hub or recessed in head of hollow axle
