    Hamilton's ForgeMaster heavy-duty casters mounting plates, bolt holes, and overall height specifications match standard requirements and feature Hamilton Casters’ excellent performance rating. These heavy-duty casters include integrally forged kingpins, precision-tapered thrust bearings and come with a guarantee for life, making them far superior to the double-ball race casters in their class.

    Quality, Features, & Specifications

     

    • Their swivel construction includes a 3/8" thick drop-forged steel mounting plate and
    • 5/16" x 2 ½" precision laser-cut steel legs welded inside and out to the forged-steel horn base.
    • The integrally forged kingpin comes in a 1" diameter. The mounting plate is guaranteed for life and threaded for ¾" diameter locknut.
    • The main load bearing has a CNC-machined 3 ¼" diameter raceway, with ½” diameter hardened and polished steel balls.
    • The secondary load bearing is a 1" precision tapered thrust bearing, which counteracts radial thrust.
    • Each unit comes in Hamilton’s new crimson red powder coat finish. The caster rigs are powder-coated with Hamilton’s new Platinum Powder, a metallic HAA polyester. This finish gives them a premium look and excellent durability for both interior and exterior environments.
    • The axle is a ¾" diameter hex head with a locknut.
    • The lubrication fittings are a ball-check type with a swivel assembly and in-wheel hubs.
